Grounded is a game I made together with two other students. We wanted to challenge ourselves so we decided to take part in a 72-hour game-jam. That wasn't enough for us so we decided to use a new engine, which we never used before, Godot.
The theme of the game-jam was "Web." When we heard this theme we immediately thought about spiders. The game-jam also had a limitation "There is no ground." We interpreted it as there is no electricity.
The robot has a bar that represents his charge. Every second the bar shrinks more and more, it also shrinks when the robot shoots a spider. Around the map there a batteries that fill up the bar. The goal of the game is to try and find the power supply.
